Cedarcare Hospital is an ultra-modern well equipped hospital established to provide affordable, trusted, compassionate and premium healthcare. The hospital is a newly purpose built structure on four floors located at Lekki Peninsula Scheme 2, Eti-Osa LGA, Lagos State.

We are proud that Cedarcare Hospital attracts the very best specialists to work across both our outpatient and inpatient services. The minimum criteria for Consultants being granted privileges to work at the Hospital is that they must be on the MDCN Specialist Register appropriate to their practice. Our Facilities

Cedarcare Hospital is truly unique; offering the highest quality private care to patients. We have an extensive range of specialist outpatient clinics, and over 30 inpatient beds in both open (single gender) wards and private bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom.

A continual investment programme ensures that our Hospital maintains the facilities needed to stay at the front of medical technology and achieve the highest levels of individual patient care. Our Hospital has a fully equipped operating theatre, modern delivery room, special investigation room and laboratory. 

Quality Assurance

At Cedarcare Hospital, we have a robust governance framework that is committed to maintaining the hospital’s high standards. Our high quality care exists in three domains: patient safety, effectiveness of care and patient experience. We do this by aiming to reduce avoidable accidents, continuing to maintain our low infection rates, and monitor patient reported outcomes and continue to analyse patient satisfaction surveys in terms of compassion, dignity and respect in a clean, safe and well managed environment.

Accidents and Emergencies

If you have an accident or an emergency, our ambulance can pick you and bring you to our accident and emergency room. Our highly experienced doctors are able to treat all most injuries, accidents and emergencies on a walk in basis, and can arrange immediate onward referrals to other specialists/tertiary centres if necessary using our well equipped ambulance. We offer this service to adults and children of all ages.

The Hospital is renowned for its group of highly specialised clinics that provide world class levels of care for patients. The clinics feature some of the national and international leading specialists combined with advanced and modern facilities.

Compassion & Excellence

All requests are treated in confidence and are handled by our team who will ensure you are placed with the most appropriate Consultant.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, you can be treated if you reside outside Lagos State. You would need to have funds in place to guarantee treatment. This would be either a self funding method or via a recognised insurance company.

No, you can self fund for treatment. We don’t accept travel insurance. Some insurance companies we require a letter of guarantee and this will need to be presented in advance of treatment. All authorisation numbers need to be given in advance of treatment.

We don’t offer this facility unless the patient is 16 years or under, they require a translator or need a full time carer.

No, you can self refer, however your insurance company may not authorise payment for your treatment if you self refer. You will have to speak to them to confirm. If they don’t authorise, you will need to self pay.

Our no smoking policy applies to all staff, patients and visitors on Hospital premises – both inside and outside. The policy complies with national guidance on smoke-free environments in hospitals.

Yes, this is free for all patients and visitors. Overnight car parking is not allowed.

We have no set visiting hours, but we’d advise visitors do not plan to visit too early or too late in the day. Patients needs to be well enough and happy to receive visitors.

General comments and suggestions are always welcomed. These can be made by speaking to a member of staff or the Hospital Director at the time of your visit to the hospital, or by using our confidential email service, complaints@cedarcaregroup.com.

Patient Satisfaction Questionnaires are available in all wards. Many of the support departments also have questionnaires, Kiosks and feedback forms. External consultants analyse the questionnaires and provide reports to the Cedarcare Hospital.

  • We ask that if you do encounter any problems, however small, you tell us. We are continually striving to improve our service and care, and your comments and feedback will help us to do this.
  • If possible, please tell us of your concerns while you are in the Hospital. Each clinical area has a leader. Please ask to speak to them directly – they are always happy to help or

What happens next?

  • If your complaint is verbal, we try to respond immediately or at least within 24 hours.
  • If your complaint is in writing, the Hospital Director will acknowledge receipt within 2 working days. It may sometimes be possible to answer the complaint within this initial response.
  • We register the complaint onto our  complaints database, alert any members of staff involved and commence our investigation.
  • After investigation into the complaint, you will normally be sent a full reply within 20 working days with a full explanation of the results and any details of any action taken as consequence. It can take time to establish the facts and circumstances. If this is likely to take longer than 20 working days the Hospital Director will advise you of this.
  • We meet with any staff concerned and take any remedial action as might be appropriate.
